We invite you to join us to help us celebrate 100 Years of Cedar and Pencil Industry Leadership.

We have several days of interesting and entertaining events planned and hope you can join us for some or all of the activities. It is important that you RSVP to indicate which days and activities you will be participating in, and whether you will need transportation to and from each event.


Tuesday June 27th Opening Tours and Reception Stockton, CA


12:00pm - Meet up at Duraflame’s Klamath Ferry corporate office at 2894 Monte Diable Avenue for an afternoon of facility tours covering California Cedar Products Company and Duraflame. A light lunch will be provided for those arriving on time.


12:45pm - Transfer to the former CalCedar slat factory and current Duraflame firelog factory for tour (no open toe shoes).


2:45pm - Transfer to CalCedar Corporate Office and Operations facility for Pencils.com tour.


4:00pm - Return to Klamath Ferry to pick-up your vehicle and/or transfer to your hotel for check in.


5:45pm - Shuttle pickup (or drive yourself) to Welcome Reception.


6:00pm - Welcome Reception at home of Philip and Anne Berolzheimer. Cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres (no dinner) - dress business casual.


8:00pm - Shuttle returns guests to their hotels.



Wednesday June 28th Sawmill & Forestry Field Trip Lincoln, CA

(no open toe shoes)


9:00am - Depart Stockton from the CalCedar office - for those driving independently, driving directions will be provided. Allow at least 1:30 drive time from Stockton and appoximately 3 hours if you are not attending prior day activities and you are departing from San Francisco Bay Area.


10:30am - Arrive at Sierra Pacific Industries Sawmill - Lincoln, CA

Sawmill Tour (box lunch provided)

Depart for forestry tour after lunch


3:00pm - Tour Completes - Transfer to Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, NV (approximately 2 hours drive time).


5:00pm - Check in - Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe (or other local hotel)


A block of rooms at the Hyatt Regency have been reserved at a discounted rate for the nights of June 28 and 29. These rooms are available to our guests on an as remaining basis until April 30th. There are also additional rooms at standard rates, but these are not held. We recommend you book and hold your room for the night(s) you will attend as soon as possible to assure space at the hotel. If you are unable to secure a room at the Hyatt, we've provided a list of alternate hotels at CalCedar.com/100.


Evening - You are on your own for enjoying dinner and the local area. Do your own thing or form an impromptu group with other Centennial Gala participants. A list of hotel and local dining options has been provided at CalCedar.com/100. Those resaurants where advance reservations are recommended have been noted.



Thursday June 29th Open day for Activities and Evening Gala Event Hyatt Regency


There are no planned or formal activities associated with CalCedar for the morning, lunch or afternoon. The wide range of local activities include golf, gaming, boating, hiking, or driving tours around the Lake Tahoe area. Links for these activities are available at CalCedar.com/100.


We are fortunate to have some outstanding musical and magical performers lined up for the evening gala. A night not to be missed.


CalCedar Presents: An Evening of Magic, Music and Memories Lakefront Lawn


Smart casual attire (no coat or tie required) - Though it's summertime, the evenings can be cool in the mountains as the sun sets (approximately 8:30pm this evening).


6:00pm - Reception starts - strolling magic with Patrick Martin


7:00pm - Seating for Dinner & Dinner Show


An evening of Magic & Musical Entertainment featuring:


Master Illusionist & Comedian Patrick Martin
Renowned Vocal Entertainer Clint Holmes
and the Christian Tamburr Trio


9:30pm - Closing Remarks & Finale Number


9:45pm - Show ends - bar closed


10:00pm - Informal afterglow acoustic music and conversation around a lakeside campfire

10:00am - Transportation back to Stockton departs
